In today's time, lifestyle diseases have become common due to the pizza-burger culture and inactive lifestyle. Agni has an important place in Ayurvedic medical science and Agni has been given the name 'Prana'. As long as digestive fire works normally in the body, then the person remains completely healthy. But in today's inactive lifestyle and consumption of antagonistic food, alcohol, cigarette etc., due to lack of exercise, digestive fire disturbs, due to which toxic substances (Aam dosh) develops and metabolic diseases like obesity, diabetes, hypertension, atherosclerosis, cardiovascular diseases etc. arises. Generally, at least one person in every family suffers from a lifestyle disorder.

These lifestyle disorders can be completely treated by making some changes in lifestyle and by following the Ayurvedic principles like Nidan Parivarjan (Avoidance of the cause), Yogasan, Pranayama, and Ayurvedic medicines.
